Ice-Encased New Jersey

Hi Everyone! Yep, It's me again and this time I am not focusing on the few ice spikes (see below) we have in the front of the house, but the ice encased yard we have. Yes, everything is covered in ice. Pictures speak a thousands words, so instead of trying to explain, here's some pictures:

Now for a couple of the bushes and dogwood tree:

Now to finish, a shot of the wintery and icy yard and a shot of the tree. The sheen on the branches on the tree are sheets of ice.

As normally happens when we have this icy land, it only ever stays for a little bit. It's turned to rain and the ice has started to melt.

  1. What incredible ice & snow! And here in Kentucky the last few days we've had pretty much nothing but spring weather (except today)! Enjoy the beauty!

P.S. I just wanted to check with you if it's ok that I've listed your blog on mine under my "list of favorite blogs." Right now my blog is public. If you'd rather not, I totally understand, and will take it off right away! As a new blogger, I am trying to learn good blog etiquette, so I decided to make sure I asked you!

P.S. If you'd like to check out my blog about my thoughts & memory-making in KY, feel free to do so at www.thecrickconnection.blogspot.com
